RENTALS

ONE LOCATION, UNLIMITED POSSIBILITIES

The Bangor YMCA Wilderness Center at Camp Jordan is the ideal venue for any event. Whether you’re looking for a venue with accommodations for up to 200 guests or something for a one-day event, The Wilderness Center serves as a customizable location for:

  • Weddings. The perfect venue for the soon-to-be newlyweds to plan their rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception in one convenient location with accommodations for the wedding party, family, and friends.

  • Reunions. Away from the distraction of everyday life, The Wilderness Center provides outdoor activities to help family members bond and create wonderful memories that will last a lifetime.

  • Corporate Retreats. The fresh air, change in scenery, and beautiful natural elements will help your team feel rejuvenated and ready to dive into the next big project.

  • Meetings. Our Wilderness Center not only provides a spacious area for your meeting, but a beautiful scenic view for your guests to take in during breaks.

  • Adventure Course Experience. From team building activities at The Wilderness Center to our mobile team challenges customized to your location, we will help you make sure that your team ends their day with a stronger bond and the confidence to step out of their comfort zone.

AVAILABLE FACILITIES

The King Dining Hall: a 4,000 square foot modern facility equipped with a full commercial kitchen, stone fireplace, wrap around porch, bathroom facilities, fully accessible, heated year-round, Wi-Fi available, and comfortably seats 200. The hall overlooks our lakefront grove area and our historic meeting hall, Triangle Lodge.

 

Triangle Lodge: A 1,500 square foot historic open meeting/gathering space with a rustic feel and stone fireplace.

 

Infirmary: This building offers plenty of space with two full bathrooms, a mini kitchen, living room, five bedrooms, pull-out couch, washer/dryer and is heated through the fall season. The infirmary can accommodate up to 10 people.

Cabins: Our large log cabins offer simple accommodations for all. Each cabin has at least 2 single beds and 7 bunk beds. All cabins have electricity.

 

Family Cabins: The two cozy family cabins are furnished with 2 bedrooms, a full bathroom, kitchenette and living space. These cabins are also heated through the fall season. Each family cabin can accommodate up to 5 people.

 

Bathhouses: Each bathhouse is centrally located to the Cabins, each having 5 toilets and 6 showers, all with private stalls.

 

Waterfront, Trails and Bennett Field/Hall: We have a . mile of water frontage on Branch Lake accompanied by a sandy beach that is available to all guests. Walking trails meander through the 200 acres of land and Bennett Field/Hall provides the

perfect space for recreation and play.

 

3 Fire Circles: Camp fires can be used as a wonderful way for all groups to wind down after an exciting day. Firewood included.

ADVENTURE COURSE EXPERIENCES

ZIP WIRE/SWING-SHOT

If you are just interested in a high flying adventure for your organization, look no further than our Zip Wire and Swing-Shot elements. The Zip starts on a platform 40 feet off the ground and sends you flying over 300 feet of wire. Strap into the Swing-Shot, the biggest swing you have ever seen and let your group pull you up into the tree tops. When you are ready YOU pull the release and swing!

MOBILE TEAM CHALLENGE & INITIATIVES

If you cannot make it to The Bangor YMCA Wilderness Center at Camp Jordan for a full day of group work, then we will come to you! Utilizing the indoor and outdoor space available to your organization at your location, we will design a custom program full of games, initiatives, and challenges to keep everyone engaged, active, and having fun. Programs can focus on team building,

trust and relationships, leadership development, or a custom program that fits your organization’s needs.

Per Hour: $125

WEEKDAY RENTALS

TEAM BUILDING AND ROPES COURSE

This program provides the opportunity for your business, leadership team, school, youth group, or organization to reach new heights! Groups will start the day with team building initiatives both on the ground and on our low-ropes course and finish supporting each other high in the trees on our high ropes course. We can focus the program on team building, trust and relationships, leadership development, or work with you to create a custom program that fits your organization’s needs.

 

Team Building and Ropes Course, 4-6 hours: $1,200

 RENTALS RATES

INCLUDED IN ALL RENTALS

  • 30–8ft. rectangular folding tables, 15–6ft. round folding tables, 175 green lawn chairs, 200 white wooden folding chairs, projector and screen.

  • Trash bags, paper towels, and toilet paper.

  • Canoes, kayaks, PFD’s for waterfront usage per rental contract

FOR AN EXTRA FEE

  • 15 White linens for round tables: $250

  • Service for 200–porcelain plates, bowls, coffee cups, saucers, flatware, water goblets and wine glasses. $500
